M.C Natty Joe was borned in Ghana, Ashanti region, in 1962.
He is surrounded by music since a young age, singing and playing percussion in church with his familly.
Starting to be a musician 20 years ago, he starts as a DJ and arrives in Paris in 1986, working in a radio station.
After playing with many Sound Systems, he creates his own, Dub Resistance. In 2000 he releases his first album "Respect for you", and later went to america to record the single "Travel and See" with Sister Deejha.
Traveler, he visited and lived in Togo, Cameroon, Guinea, Gabon, Congo, Jamaica, USA, and Europe.
His last album, "For the sake of children", is released in 2009, with a big promotion in Ghana.
Poet and Rastafari, MC Natty Joe always seek to have his own, independant style, bringing a message of unity through his music : "When you fight tribal war, don`t call me", says M.C Natty Joe.
